More than two weeks after Australia’s mandatory Infant Sleep Products and Inclined Non-Sleep Products safety requirements came into force, our ongoing monitoring shows there is still significant work to be done online.
While many suppliers and retailers made genuine efforts during the transition period, compliance gaps remain — particularly in online product listings, where mandatory safety warnings and information are still missing or inconsistently applied.
This is no longer a transition issue.

Infant Sleep & Inclined Non-Sleep Products: Common Online Failures
Across multiple websites and platforms, we continue to see the same recurring issues:
